What are your resolutions for 2020? My own resolutions follow my decision to add my voice to Culture Declares Emergency, and to shape my life and work in response to the climate and ecological emergency unfolding around us.
It means I’m going to use my work to promote the changes that are possible and that may help us adapt to what is happening. I’m going to work on local projects that respond to the emergency, and call on others to do the same. And I’m going to actively work to imagine and model ways that my creative practice can regenerate the planet’s resources.
2019 was a very difficult year, but there were three wonderful cultural events that gave me hope.

- HarperCollins’ publication of Letters to the Earth.
